Done last minute on Friday, mostly.
Last minute, because for some reason I didn’t see much BSD stuff until Friday night.
Assembled all on Thursday!
All the BSD activity for the week was absorbed by EuroBSDCon, I think.
Not sure why, but there’s been a lot of BSD news the past few weeks. I am OK with that.
Late addition: NetBSD’s New York build cluster will be offline beginning Monday for about two weeks, which means no daily NetBSD or pkgsrc builds.
Lots of links this week – so many I’ve already started next week’s post.
I’ve been on the road, so this is a bit light.
There’s been enough this week I’ve already started next week’s BSD entry.
A good topic range this week.
Odd batch of links this week.
Your BSD-related fiction book of the week (year? decade?) :’git commit murder‘ is out, set at a (fictional) BSD convention.
More thinking topics than version changes this week, which is interesting.
I measure the success of In Other BSDs by how many different BSD flavors I can reference. This is a good week.
A lot of the real content this week is buried in the comments, strangely.
Note the end this week of pc98, the most focused of niche platforms.
Done all at the last minute.
Accidental theme this week: books.
