This has been a very hectic week for me, but I still have links for you.

  1. procfs was removed in June. It was pretty much a dragged along version that existed since back when BSD was still at Berkeley… I wonder what the future of Dragonflys procfs will be. I noticed that it was different from the /proc in other BSDs while playing with htop. Proper sysctl implementations are the way to go I think. people use procfs mostly for linux anyways.

  2. Another interesting note: Lumina was just ported to OpenBSD today.

    Also, it’s sort of neat that uGet now mentions BSD in its header/logo space at the top of their website. Good on them!
