  1. Does such a tool exist that can:

    1. Identify between FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD (etc) where common code is used in the base.

    2. Then when common code is used and then updated, inform the other projects of the update common code?

  2. Ethan Adler was I think doing work along these lines; he didn’t have a tool per se, but he had set it up so that he could compare easily between the codebases. It’s worth asking him about it – eadler on EFNet #dragonflybsd.
