  1. I hope to tag this weekend, depending on what the results are of Radeon driver testing – there may be a last change to revert on that. I don’t have that hardware so I am not directly involved.

    I know you’re super busy but if there was ever s time to update the benchmarks you performed 4 year ago it’d be now given all the Hammer2 and networking commits of late.

  3. I’m drooling over the idea of Hammer2 benchmarks of Postgres by François Tigeot to see how it beats the pants off Debian 9 and FreeBSD.

  4. I know this is a weird question but will Hammer2 affect the network performance improvements Sephorosa has been working on?

    Does the filesystem impact network perf?

Filesystem performance and network performance should not generally affect each other, unless you are in some strange scenario where the data can’t be read off of disk fast enough to send it at the available speeds, or vice versa – but that’s a generic, odd case, and not something that would apply specifically to this work.
