  1. Do you mean x86? x32 is used to distinguish a different ABI (which is basically x86-64 with 32-bit pointers) as far I’m aware: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X32_ABI

    This can lead to some confusion e.g. googling for x32 will yield results for DragonFly BSD, which I don’t think supports this.
