1. I’ve been too distracted and out of the loop – is there an official way to do a cheap-and-cheerful binary upgrade?

   I “slept through” 2.6 and sitting through buildworlds doesn’t necessarily make me smarter.

2. No – Matthias Schmidt has looked at porting over FreeBSD’s binary upgrade system, but it hasn’t been developed. Buildworlds are easy, just time-consuming.
