2. does it mean from now on wifi will be available during install process?

3. Yes, if dhcpcd and wpa_supplicant are running (dhcpcd_enable and wpa_supplicant_enable in rc.conf), then newly plugged wifi device should get connected.
   And yes, such environment can also be configured for installation process eventually, but there would be still one missing part… to let a user select particular network and to enter authentication credentials (in other words, set /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf).
