Hm, haven’t had a chance to be involved in a while (hence more blog comments), but how hard would it be to show the space ‘consumed’ by the active snapshot (@@now) versus the entire filesystem?
That seems like it wouldn’t be too hard while giving a bit of a hint on whether pruning is tuned correctly. Though now that numerous history-retaining FSes are under development, perhaps df should be extended instead?
