tuning(7) had some updates from Matthew Dillon. It’s minor, as he says, but it’s such a useful man page I want to make sure people are reading it.

A running description of activity related to DragonFly BSD.
It is nice to have a tuning page. I wonder if a discussion of the performance aspects of configurable mitigations for side channel and timing attacks such as Meltdown and Spectre would also be in order. Alternatively, one could have a reference to a separate page discussing the security and performance aspects of such work arounds with some advice concerning optimization for different use cases. Is there already such a page?
Yes there is a security(7) manual page for such topics.
