Francois Tigeot has been quietly updating DRM support in DragonFly, matching Linux kernel 4.7.10. I don’t think there’s any user-visible changes at this point, but I wanted to draw attention to the work.

Is there any reason why I should load the i915kms module on my headless server?
Yes you should always load the i915 module on machines with an intel igp, even if you are running headless without a screen. Doing so will save a noticable amount of power.
