  1. Does this also enable some 4G Modems that uses CDC-Ether, for example?

    ZTE MF79S is one of those dongles that, as soon as you plugin on Linux and Windows, will be recognized as an ethernet interface

  2. I think it would, cause Markus was doing this specifically to enable a modem… but I don’t have that hardware available to verify.

  3. I wish i could help with probing one of them on DragonFlyBSD.

    I only have those already deployed and attached to OpenWRT/LEDE access points on remote offices.
