No chlamydia; change your mirror

Simon ‘corecode’ Schubert’s host for DragonFly, chlamydia.fs.ei.tum.de, is down for good.  Since it had excellent bandwidth, it was frequently used as the source for a lot of the DragonFly mirror sites out there.

If you were using it for your own mirror, switch to mirror-master.dragonflybsd.org, and tell Matthew Dillon at @dragonflybsd.org your contact info so you can be notified of changes.  (If you’re not mirroring, please download from the nearest site that is.)

  1. Please also contact matthias@ if you want to mirror of if you already operate a mirror.

  2. Thanks, Justin. I knew something was up with it since it went down a few days ago, but I wasn’t sure it was permanent.

Strangely, a lot of the other mirrors out there seem to have incomplete data sets. It’s best to browse the contents to see if the mirror you’re looking at really is up to date.

  3. that’s sad, anyone knows why it’s “down for good”? is corecode still with you guys?

  4. chlamydia’s had hardware problems, so this has been on the way for a while. corecode’s still around; he’s just low on time these days.
