OpenBSD Journal has an interesting article up that talks about the life cycle of a bug, as seen by an OpenBSD user. I call it interesting because it gives a good summary of a bug-squishing process from a ‘user’ perspective.

Well, the story is not bad and nice to read. But opposite stories can also be told. At least for the FreeBSD project, PRs are getting sometimes retired instead of solved and help requests are never getting answered. But, well, _sometimes_ it’s as great as the story tolds.
