  1. Well, it looks like FreeBSD has decided to make the switch to X.org for 5.3-RELEASE (it seems to be the default now in -CURRENT), so does this mean that DragonFly will be doing so as well? I seem to recall Matt Dillon taking a wait and see approach to this, and saying something along the lines of doing what FreeBSD does here…

    Stop in /usr/ports/x11/xorg-libraries/work/xc/lib/X11.

  3. Well, that was hardly helpful. You failed to mention what you did, and on what OS.

  4. It tries to compile with “*gnumalloc” which breaks the build on DragonFly.
    I got it from the binary package.

    I tried on my Duron 2000+ running DragonFly BSD 1.1-CURRENT #10
