David Rhodus has the journaling filesystem code from Apple located in vfs_journal.c and vfs_journal.h. He estimate it’d take 2-3 (long) days of work to get it worked into the system, which would mean no more long fscks after unlcean shutdowns. Any takers? Everyone would love you for it.

is all code in the df kernel going to only be bsd licensed? or will this be piece meal licensing ?
It’s what I am wondering about that too.. I am not sure if it can be done to put APSL license stuff in the BSD license stuff. I didn’t read APSL that much, so I don’t really know much about APSL license.
