    That’s awesome! It would be pretty sweet if one day there’s a Partition Magic-like type of utility where we can resize partitions on the fly.

    Maybe one day we’ll be able to say “Oh no! /var is too small, but I got plenty of space on /usr. Okay, I’ll just make /usr smaller and then /var can have the extra space.”

    I’m sure the dirty details would be more complicated that that since partions need to be moved around if they they aren’t next to each other on the disk, but those details should be hidden from the user.
