A few years back, I got bored and replaced my sysvinit on my Debian box with runit. I’d prefer that over systemd today, although to be honest, doing the swap manually was a bit of a pain.
Also, most people don’t recognize that Docker is pretty much a heavily over glorified OpenVZ and suffers all the same security issues of that.
