1. Heh. Stick installs have BEEN possible. Had trouble with sysinstall on FreeBSD (yes, sysinstall is really wearing out its welcome after all these years) trying to set up a FBSD partition next to scaled down VISTA partition. Couldn’t get nanoBSD/picoBSD/mumbleBSD to work, so I finally just manually created a 4 GB usb drive with a minimal FreeBSD plus a dump of my old /usr partition. Tedious, but worked great.

2. “Had trouble with sysinstall on FreeBSD” … but who hasn’t?
