I followed the TRS-80 link, hoping to find something about the Z-80-in-keyboard computer that I first met in about 1980, but no: this is the Johnny-come-lately portable thing with the eight-line LCD screen. I’m sure it was all manner of cool at the time, but I never met one. I can’t even complain about the re-use of the name, because there’s at least another completely different thing with the same name that ran on a 6809 and could do color.
