I have totally-unrelated-to-BSD theory: Boston, Kansas, Supertramp, Foreigner, and a few other band are all the same band, with slightly different instrumentation. There are a number of bands that you can put in arbitrary groupings like that.

I have a similar theory about US chain restaurants, which is why I call them all “TGI Ruby Apple Tuesdays”. This humor may be lost on anyone living outside the US, but that’s OK.
