It was one of the main reasons that I switched from FreeBSD some time ago. It lacks some other features, like a powerful filesystem, but suspend resume support was a must have feature.

It’s great. Everything seems to work, from wifi down to the SD card reader. One thing that really surprises me is how well resume/suspend works. It feels instantaneous — much quicker than Linux or Windows.

I hope that newer thinkpads — even with their crummy keyboards — do/will work as well.
