It is whatever geometry we end up with by scaling the font with a non-fractional scaling factor (i.e. by doubling, tripling, etc. the font size), but the exact geometry depends on the native resolution of the screen. 80x25 is just the minimum which we do not go below when calculating the default.

For example, the default geometry is 120x33 on a 1920x1080 screen, or 128x48 on a 1024x768 screen.]]></description>
