					<description><![CDATA[shutdown sends a system wide message notifying about the shutdown aswell as it can schedule a system shutdown (i.e. +10 minutes) so users have time to log off and save their work before the shutdown will happen. 
I think (but Im not completley sure of this) that shutdown internally calls halt once it&#039;s time to initiate the shutdown.
