					<description><![CDATA[For the most part, we do not talk to the kernel directly.  We have a whole slew of helper apps that do this.   So it really doesn&#039;t matter how much the kernel changes, BSD Installer will still function as designed.

I think this is a bad idea; at least until the major kernel work has ended, and the majority of the kernel APIs have stablized. Unfortunately, my opinion doesn&#039;t count for much, and the generally very bright developers seem to disagree with me on this one. 

Not like it&#039;s hard to set it up manualy, but I personally feel like it should remain a default for quite some time to come, as people new to BSD may not know how to do this, but invariably end up finding some of the most interesting bugs...]]></description>
