Alexander Polakov has imported OpenBSD’s hotplugd(8). It monitors for hotplug-style events, like disk additions and removals, and executes corresponding scripts to handles those events.
I think it would be better if the DragonFly manual page was referenced in such announcements (instead of the OpenBSD one) because there might be adjustments having been done as part of the import.
You are correct – however, the DragonFly man page wasn’t online yet. The man pages on leaf.dragonflybsd.org are regenerated frequently, but not, say, every 5 minutes.
Actually, it’s not up yet – I thought it was at least daily… Strange.
